94 850 NT, need help with heater Im COLD!!!

I live in Atlanta & no its not always cold here but when it is I need my heater to work & lately its been crazy sometimes I get no air blowing at all after a few minutes, or I usually leave it on the hottest setting, I have dual climate control but when my son is in the car he likes to change it to a cooler setting rather than turn down the fan, he's 9 anyway when he changes the temp setting to a cooler temp., it blows out COLD air as if I had the a/c on, I turn it off & back on a few minutes later & its fine but it seems to only heat on the maximum temp. setting if at all Please Help!!

Most likely the thermostat is stuck open. it's an easy change BUT you will need a long torx driver to remove the housing. Most part stores will have it be sure that you have a new split O ring
