Just got me an 850, can't wait to fix er' up advice?

I didn' t have the car jacked or anything but I reached under and used the palm of my hand to jold the fuel tank. There is a rattle coming from somewhere. Lee, where were you able to secure a hose clamp?

I tried to find a camera but it seems to be MIA at the moment. The heat shield I had the rattle with was directly next to the driver's side rear wheel on the exhaust pipe. If I touched it the rattle would stop and slapping the hose clamp on it shut it up.

here you go. They add more websites all the time, but I've had a good eye for spotting their sites, they usually are setup the same. I posted this in the opinion section last year. I ALWAYS chime in when somebody asks about them.

Wow, this happens on and off, anyone else have this issue, the stop leak product doesn't fix it, and it only happens after 15 minutes of idling, and then its intermittent after that.

Also found a couple wires not hooked up, didn't have any reference, everything works fine...

Does that latch release wire need to be sitting there?

I still can't find the rattle, as I drove her around today it sounded like it was coming from directly under the gear shift, I checked the heat shields, all SEEM to be sitting fine, I banged around with a rubber hammer, and nothing was replicating the rattle the car makes when it goes over the slightest bump. The only think close was the fuel tank that had a little rattle, I wedged some poxy spreaders in between the fuel tank and the heat shields to stop any vibration as a test, but that did nothing. Anyone else have this annoying problem, I thought it would be an easy fix, but I cant well ride under the car while it's in motion and see the problem.

I just got my first 95 850 wagon. If you look in the repair database for the air box thermostat fix it works great.

The open connector in front of the radiator looks like it went to the second horn that doesn't appear to be there.

When you replace the radiator order in a new radiator overflow tank cap, the gray ones are bad news, they will split and cause problems. Volvo changed the plastic formulation and the newer caps are a bluish green color - they work much better.
