reluctant glove box, airbag hazard?

Post by JimBee »

Having removed the screws around the rim of the glove box in my '93 850 I expected it to pull out (after releasing the stop arms) but it's hanging up on something I can't see, apparently near the top. Any suggestions? Is there any danger of triggering the airbag working on a damper motor in that area?

Not sticking on the lid catch ?
Bit that's screwed to the dash frame that is..

And no, no issues for the air bag.
The airbag wiring is normaly in a yellow/orange loom/tube.
Can't miss it.

Here, have a pic, note the missing dash pad and airbag.
Airbag wire is green connector and orange tube......
