Ive never heard of this metric before (and just googled it with no results) could you elaborate? Thanks for the advice by the way, it is appreciated! Wondering if I should bite the bullet and move to Volvo (or as close to) fluid with some Lubegarf

Febi 29934 is another JWS3309 compatible fluid, but unsure if its better than Mannol. Ive always had success with febi parts before

CSt@40 and @100 are two viscosity points (at 40 and 100 degrees Celsius) that allow you to predict viscosity at any other temperature point.

Volvo ATF has viscosity at these points of ~37 and ~7.5-7.7, if memory is not lying. Staying closer to Volvo viscosity is best.
