Ok so here we go!

Headed to harbor freight for plastic pry tools.

Any tips or tricks get the moldings and trim off would be appreciated!

Here are two posts I did about sunroof and trim removal:

Sunroof, headliner, etc removal

I never finished creating a tool to remove sunroof trim. Something has to slip under the hooks built in to the plastic, but it must come in at a tricky angle. Take time reviewing those posts and pictures, considering how to fashion a tool for the job. The trim plastic is quite brittle so take care.

And it's out.

The ring around the sunroof, the plastic trim part, will break.

Best is to take a screwdriver , a flat blade, and bang it on the contact points, to break the snaps free.

I missed that and it broke. Oh well

Here are more pics. Now to get the sunroof out before the Florida afternoon rains!

Thanks for the pics. I'm going to have to deal with my sunroof at some point ( starts to tilt, and stops. Starts to open, and stops ), and these help to see whats behind the headliner. If you can, snap a couple of the track assembly near the opening, as I think something is broken there on mine.

I can take pics of the sunroof installed. My broken one I'm removing

And the new junk yard new one I am installing.
