Yeah, there maybe a bit of voodoo involved. How much to retard this, how much to advance that.

My understanding of NA cams swap is that they CAN make more power if you have the knowledge to make good use of them. Otherwise it will just be 1-2hp gain at best

Not sure on the virgins. But they do work better with exhaust cam advanced a few degrees a la Sveedy.
