As far as i remember...on Jetronic system...Maf is replaced with just an insert and it's housing is in one piece with airbox.

However....don't go with anything else but Bosch.

Part number should be written on the insert.

I ask the seller to control the serial number of the insert... Could it be possible that the sensor fits to my engine ?

Bosch or genuine Volvo(which is actually a Bosch)...ONLY!!!

Don't worry, the seller cancelled the sale, he doesn't have the right tool to remove the sensor... I have no other way than to go to Volvo or Skandix.. I was near the goal...

Sensors are not interchangeable.
They use different method to measure the air flow...hot film vs.thermistor if i recall correctly.

Different voltage output.

Looking closely at the insert...it could be possible that inserts are the same...but you will need to compare part# from the inserts itself...not housings.
However...the chances are pretty low.

You remove those security torx with a bit with a small home in it, or a ViceGrip !

You can also Dremel the pin off in 17 seconds
