Not constantly....it will properly dissengage when full throttle is applied and engage again when it is released.
Ecc will still control it to work like it should.
Thermal switch just protects the compressor from overheating.
If the thermal switch is ok it will serve it's purpose but if it's going bad it will keep dissengaging the clutch even when there is no reason for that.

You don’t want to remove thermal protection from the compressor. That could end badly
