The rust is less of an issue on the blades. There are anti-corrosives in the coolant and so not too worried about that. You could always have dipped it in rust killer and then washed it but kept the bearing out of the rust killer. A dremel with a wire brush would probably cleaned it up too. With 130k miles on it it is more than half way to recommended replacement and past the first. Rust in the bearings is less likely as they should be sealed.

Thanks, but I just ordered an Aisin from FCP at 11 pm last night. Of course, it shipped only 13 hours later. Yup, it's for Geronimo.

I think I still have a new Hepu pump in a box. I think it came from Abscate for the last 850 project, but never got fitted for some reason.

130K and then sat on a shelf 1.5 years I would expect the seals got hard and would fail right away when put back in to use.

I do remember when i tried safe a buck by not changing water pump.
Did backfire middle of winter.
