If I recall right the CV joint seemed a little tight but I figured it would break in.

Hey! Looking at some new CV axles for my own rig and I was wondering how your new ones are fairing after installing them. GKN seems few and far between these days and I don't want to risk my life with RockAuto junk.
Cheers!

Front left, GKN 305664, 07 XC70, can get lots of places it's probably worth it:
RockAuto, $260, https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.ph ... 88&jsn=488
FCP, $390, https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/volvo- ... n-36000522
Euro, $267, https://eeuroparts.com/gkn-loebro-305-6 ... --Ict0BItS
etc.
Front right, GKN 305665, 07 XC70:
Agreed, can't find it anywhere.
I'm going to need new CV axles when I finish head work this spring on an 07 XC70. I am likely going to switch to the XC90 axles instead. MVSer vlt has posted about that switch several times in the forum. Better CV joint design.
