Just be aware that you may have to get it replaced when you're making your decision. The extended warranty goes for 10 years from when the car was first placed in service or 200K miles. So you'll probably hit the 10 years first. If it goes out and you have to pay for it, figure $600 for the XeMODeX modification (you remove it, send it them, they fix it up, then you install it), or about $1,000 for a new one at the dealer.
