I'm having the exact same problem with the IPD kit. The hose from the throttle body doesn't reach the IAC. It looks just like yours. They said the kit was from a company in Norway. I guess these don't fit our cars after all.
I would assume that the Samco kit does fit, but it's hard to tell from internet pictures. Therefore I'm going to return this kit and order the standard replacements.

I've been trying to install my silicone hoses from FCP today (the inexpensive ones, not the SAMCOs).
I was able to get the small ring onto the top of the turbo, but have not been able to get the OTE pipe into the other end of it.
I was able to install the throttle body/IAC hose.
I was able to install the upper intercooler hose , and connect the plastic extension to the throttle body/IAC hose.
I have been completely unable to even get close to fitting the lower intercooler hose over the lower metal pipe, and haven't even tried the hose that links the OTE and lower metal pipe.
Does anyone have any tricks for these?
I really don't want to throw in the towel and put the remaining OEM ones back on, and I can't re-use the top coupler (turbo to OTE pipe) as it was torn when I inspected it before removal... HELP.

And now I can't wrangle the lower pipe into position to hook up to the bottom intercooler port and the OTE pipe.
Everything else is together.
Whomever decided to make these hoses ID about 4mm too small needs to be dragged down the street and shot.

Finally got Everything on using silicone spray, and cutting 45degree angles on the lips of the "s" hose. The 90degree was ok with just silicone, and all the rest took lots of force and soapy water and a hair dryer.
When I first got the hoses I soaked them in boiling water, I don't think it helped much.

So after all that, should I bother ordering some? It sounds like the manufacturer knows that they're skewed, but doesn't want to do anything about it.
But for 5 bucks over OEM, it hurts not to have silicone.
Did they even test fit this product on ONE car before it hit the market?

Just picked the 97 GLT up from the indy who, among other things, installed Samco intercooler hoses for me.
"Pain in the cock" was just about the most polite thing he had to say about them.
I suspect they're intended to be hellishly tight so they don't blow off.
He found a shoe-horn did the job, and that a second set of hands also helps - one to push the pieces together, the other to jam the shoehorn in and pry the hose outward.
