Stripped Water Pump Bolt

Lucky git is right!! And no picture unfortunately. I was too busy nearly messing my shorts with anxiety :-)

What kind of right angle was it that you could get at the water pump bolt? It would have to be a very small head. I need to drill out 3 water pump holes and would like to know what kind of right angle to get.

This may not be exactly the right tool for this job,
but with a 1/4" hex shank drill bit, I could see it happening:

I've been using the original for years. ( and worn a few out... :roll: :D ) When you need a SkewDriver, nothing else will do!
Milwaukee bought the SkewDriver rights a while back and developed the 8510 model for HD apps.
I havent used the HD for drilling, but it's a hearty unit. Both are great for any tool box.

Good luck on getting that drilled out.
