Re: Stripped Water Pump Bolt
Lucky git! that was a horrible job.
Life would be enjoyable if it wasn't so painful to live.
What kind of right angle was it that you could get at the water pump bolt? It would have to be a very small head. I need to drill out 3 water pump holes and would like to know what kind of right angle to get.

This may not be exactly the right tool for this job,
but with a 1/4" hex shank drill bit, I could see it happening: http://www.milwaukeetool.com/accessorie ... 49-22-8510
The HD unit is the "big brother" of the original Skewdriver: http://www.milwaukeetool.com/accessorie ... 48-32-2100
I've been using the original for years. ( and worn a few out...
) When you need a SkewDriver, nothing else will do!
Milwaukee bought the SkewDriver rights a while back and developed the 8510 model for HD apps.
I havent used the HD for drilling, but it's a hearty unit. Both are great for any tool box.
Good luck on getting that drilled out.
That can NOT be fun.
