I take it you zip-tied or otherwise clamped and attached the hose down where you led it?
Anyway right now the point is futile until I stop the current Exhaust Cam seal leak which as Rspi accurately described is getting on to my exhaust and cooking me up some burnt smelling oil...
I actually stuck my nose over the dip stick port and it wasn't that bad...
Although for the simple effort, as far away from the cabin intake filter makes sense -- which actually I just remembered I replaced my self -- but is on the same side as dipstick..
Seems one could easily drill a spare oil-filler-cap and install some kind of very small screen or filter that would allow pressure to go through, but allow the oil to stay with-in and drip back down...
I might try it for fun. But in the meantime I am getting ready to bite the bullet and order the PCV kit this weekend. I'm tired of this whole thing as I am sure all my correspondence here is as well.
So actually I have done a repair under my hood [chuckle]...
Here she is a 1/2 inch oil mist filter:

Maybe we can do better than Ninety Dollars?

Yes, I used a clamp on where the heater hose meets the dipstick. I have not had a problem with oil going up through it: but I am ready if this happens: I have a small square of the material used for screen doors. I was thinking I just could wrap it over the dipstick before I press the heater hose over the dipstick holder (with dipstick out).
