Will NEVER test my car for top speed on public roads.

I think top speed is simply a death wish, some grandma cuts you off and your life is over. Not even a Volvo will save you. Acceleration on the other hand is much more fun and can be controlled safely and for that Turbo is the only way to go.

Here is mine: there are no repercussions to me publishing my top speed online. Anonymous or not.

Notice the lack of "cold-hard-undeniable" evidence? ie: pictures, GPS log?

Unfortunately I know a little too well how the justice department works.

Also, one would be a fool to believe the internet, after all this may or may not be a work of fiction.

Anyway, my top speed is 135 MPH

127 in the '94 N/A passing a car on a two lane going down a steep hill. My mother-in-law and my raging b*tch sister-in-law were in the back seat and rolling it and dying seemed like a reasonable alternative. At least it shut them up for a few minutes.

With all the P80s I've owned, T5Ms, Rs etc, I don't think I ever drove one past 90-100.
Now... my modded P2 V70R 6 speeds, that's a different story!
