Safe but failing the test only tells you the software'+ ETM isn't right.

Passing the test does not mean you are home free

Sorry haven't been on for a little while. Once you've established that you have the right firmware it's a question of road testing to check out the ETM. A couple of days of driving or about 4-6 hours of driving time is how long I test before releasing the ETM on a customer. On a non turbo just takes 5 minutes to swap the ETM out.

Scanning car with ETM connected proves little.
