Purchased mine at 188,000, now has 305,000 and going strong. If you like to drive and tinker, you'll love it. If not, you won't have it long.

I almost threw my V70 away in 2010 at 130k miles. I've updated suspension, fixed AC, PCV ( not needed) and am now at 175k of fun filled high pressure turbo 5 speed fun.

With this forum, any DIY person can drive a Mercedes for the price of a Toyota

Well, I have a 97 850R that was poorly maintained, and has cost a small fortune to keep running. On the other hand, I have a 95 T5-R with 256,000 miles that has been a joy to work on, and runs like a top. So, it really just depends on the TLC it has been goven over the years.
