Your story is an inspiration for a retired 67 year old Volvo owner. I have a 1987 Volvo 240 DL.
I nicknamed it " warrior", because it runs very well and very reliable. I have owned the car since 1989, as a second owner. It has under 100,000 miles. Stored for many years as I was driving company vehicle. Just recently I have had a problem starting the car. Someone suggested a tune up. After installing 4 spark plugs, new wires, cap, rotor button and oil change. The car is hesitating and does not stay running. Any ideas?

What is the recent history of this car? Has it been driven regularly? Do it have fresh fuel in the tank? Has it had regular service (flame trap, etc.)?
PS It would be better to start a new thread for this new vehicle issue.
