Replacing all your hoses was smart, though - vacuum leaks on these cars from crumbling hoses is far and away what creates the most troublesome errors and symptoms with these cars - but still so easy to prevent.
I suppose you've been looking at something like this:

where it seems that the blue line ends in thin air, but if you look left, above where it says "Air filter", there's a note saying that the line should go "To fresh air hose". It's easy to overlook it - I certainly did the first times I was figuring out where all the hoses go.
