Nope. I saw a car almost exactly like mine for sale the other day. $1500 for '98 S70 T5 at 230K. Recently I have changed radiator, oil cooler lines, doing brakes now, have an evap leak I haven't found yet, ordered a new grille for it, putting winter tires on as soon as brakes fixed, and also going to fix leak at turbo oil return line. 500 bucks for a useless pump that will be seized up in a month is definitely not worth it. A 50 cent diode with 2 minutes to solder and unplug the pump makes perfect sense to me.

Here is the pic from the SAS delete we did on the wife's car, before swapping to a flashable ECU.

Huh, that is my exact problem. My '30' is on the opposite side of the gap than yours. Your fix looks the same as the RobertDIY video but my numbers (on the other side) are on the left side of the pic ... ?
Not sure what to think

If you zoom in, you can my problem with the logic. It looks like the 32-37 is on the opposite side of the ECU

There is a "A" side and a "B" side.

On the "A" side, the "30's" are on the top. On the "B" side, they're on the bottom.

Install your diode like I did in the pic. That is correct, A32 to A37.

I have found the difference
My Volvo was made in Brussels. Not sure if that in and of itself makes a big difference but my ECU is a P/N is 261 204 607. And it looks the same as Chuck W's ECU. The one that RobertDIY had in the video was a P/N 261 203 072. So the numbering showed up on both the outside and the inside of the ECU. That being said, it looks to me (based on the Chuck W image above) that both of these ECUs are 'wired' the same. Apparently there were quite a few variations of the same ECU so will solder away tomorrow and see what codes it gives me. Hopefully none.
