Ill bet the original poster back in 2016 no longer has the car due to transmission problems due do to aggressive solvents in the new formulation making goo out of the rubber parts.

I think if your transmission is really crapped up a new oil could torch it, but there are three good long term refs for Valvoline !Maxlife upthread.

I’m also using Valvoline Dex 6 MaxLife in SWMBOS BMW E83 for 100k now with good performance.

That’s a 6 speed GM transmission in that car. I do 4 liter drain and fills at 30k intervals

Is ok to use Dex6 in these P80 cars? The red bottle stuff?
