the big rubber bushing that the prop shaft goes through. it has two bolts and bolts of the exhaust hanger in the middle of the car.
the bearing is different between the two prop shafts I have but the end caps are the same and so is the length of the shafts.

Does the 98 support bracket bolt holes for the bolts to the floor pan line up with the holes for the 2000? If so you should be able to swap the whole item over, if as you say the 2 ends of the earlier prop-shaft fit with the 2000.
