I know not to get URO under any circumstance (I really wish eEuroparts understood our aversion to their parts...) so I'm looking at the Pro Parts Sweden. (I know, I know, I know...) Price difference is substantial: $30 vs $130... Aside from getting the OEM Volvo ones, for which there is only one part number for all four subframe bushings (Volvo-3507923)

Pro Parts Sweden is ScanTech....poor quality
Something's fishy here......the links tryingbe posted both refer to OEM VOLVO parts and the cost is quite reasonable: $30.61 for Tasca & $34 for FCP.

Where did you get $130?? Geesh, for such a reasonable cost for an OEM part, why buy anything else?

I wouldn't.......

Tryingbe: Thanks for that link. The Sled will need new bushings soon.

You need 4 of the bushings. FCP usually have free shipping over $70 while Tasca doesn't.

I know, I know...

I would've gone OEM, but, I have two ruined front tires from an alignment that I had done that was either not done, or caused by these. (Everything in the car has been replaced and the front wheels are firm as all hell.) So I need two front tires and--I'm thinking, a better alignment than the kind my usual mechanic can perform. So I'm on the hook for another $250 (at least). Hence the need to save ever so slightly...

But I did get the inserts! So it'll be fine!!

I wanted to get on this today, but still haven't received my package from FCP.

I do understand the need to watch the $$$'s. I found myself facing having to buy 3 new tires. The Michelins I've been using now cost ~ $145/ea at DT. So I went with a BF Goodrich for about $85/ea instead. Problem was DT had to go through about 6 to pick the best! Frustrating, but it's all solved now and I won't have to worry about tires for quite awhile.

Thanks, sleddriver,
Worst mistake I made was putting on a new set of tires before doing all this front suspension work... (And of course, not having a mechanic who could say to me, "I do not know how to align your wheels!") I hate the General Altimax's we have on the car. The tires are horrible, bald on the inside, on both wheels! (They're perfectly matched!) It'll be nice to get this taken care of once and for all.

Well blow me down:

Had no idea they were that cheap! I assumed you were talking about $/ea., not $/4.

Looking fwd to reading your post-replacement-report as mine are probably due after 18yrs. Fortunately, I've had none of the severe tire wear you have.

They could be free, I still won't install them. I've used enough bad quality part to know better.

I understand! It shows I'm not used to OEM parts being inexpensive.....

Another write up. Neither one really gives a feeling for what a pain in the Ass it is to get them out. Patience and perseverance is needed. http://volvoforums.com/forum/volvo-850- ... asy-74022/
