I'm going to order some subframe bushings. I know not to get URO under any circumstance (I really wish eEuroparts understood our aversion to their parts...) so I'm looking at the Pro Parts Sweden. (I know, I know, I know...) Price difference is substantial: $30 vs $130... Aside from getting the OEM Volvo ones, for which there is only one part number for all four subframe bushings (Volvo-3507923), does anyone know why there are two different ones that need to be ordered if going a non-OEM route? I found somewhere that the Volvo mount was updated at some point (which is why the hole is round instead of oval on the OEM ones?), but I can't seem to find that anywhere so maybe I am making that up. Am I missing something here? It would seem that installing the one with nubs all around would be better for the car, no? (Especially if that's the updated design...)
from FCP's site:
fits Front LEFT

fits Rear LEFT; Rear RIGHT; front RIGHT
And the OEM Volvo one looks a lot like the latter of these two:
(complete with nubs!)
Has anyone tried to install the bushings with nubs all around?
