Fuel line/injectors Topic is solved

You probably spill about 5 ml at most when you spritz the Schraeder Valve on these cars. Catch it in rag or bunch of paper towels and then let it dry in the sun - crying at the contribution to smog as the HC dance off into the atmosphere.

Its not enough to be a safety hazard unless you spritz next to your operating oxyacetylene torch.

My FPR has two screws, but since I have a leaking injector, best fix that while I'm at it, I sprang for a new FPR $51.. bucks, I went to the pick a part, only a "96" and "2001" volvos there, the "96" would'nt do, and no injectors to be found at the yard, as I said, I dont want to fix nothing that isnt broke,Im basically going to take a look at them and hope there not too dirty,and replace the orings but this gasket?, do I have to wait and order one of those too WAA!! ha,ha, I finally have everything I thought and you throw this at me, haha,do tell me if I should have one on hand, Ill look it up, the only thing stopping me from doing all this now is the high winds we've been having, friggin 17 to 20 mile winds.Please tell me about this gasket! Thanks.

The 96 has the same injectors, as long as both cars are turbo or both are non-turbo. All injectors are the same 93-98, as long as it is the same engine type. Possibly the same FPR, but you have to look and compare.

The "gasket" at the intake manifold is not critical, just like shaker_chi said. You can grab the ones from the 96 at the PNP, that's what I would do.

If you replace the o rings be sure to get injector o rings that are fuel compatible, these are not just generic ones.

thought Id let everyone know, FPR in, injectors cleaned up with new orings, new flame trap, thermostat, changed coolant, Done, pat me on the back, WooHoo
