Bosch copper plugs work great. On the cap and rotor just check the contact points, make sure they are not visibly corroded or broken. I agree they are probably fine from what you said, just trying to think of things to check. And especially, another thing you might see in there is if the rear cam seal blew and soaked the inside of the cap in oil. Blown cam seals are pretty common with the age of these cars. Any oil leaks near the distributor cap?
If the injectors are spraying then the FPR is probably OK but you can check it out. Check the pressure on the Schrader valve at the rail, it should rise to 40 psi with the key on and stay there. Pull the vacuum line to the FPR and smell it, if the gas smell is strong then there is a leak in the FPR and it is bad. But the smell has to be strong, faint smell is to be expected. FPR is probably on the fuel rail but I am never sure about 93 setups.
