If you can take a couple of pictures of a removed seat that would be awesome Erik. Thanks. I hate going into a job that I have not done before without knowing what I am doing!

This is not an exhaustive set of photos, I'm just trying to show you that there are no other mounting holes of any kind. I can shoot others if you want, let me know.

Thanks Erik. That does not look like the Vida drawing, so it looks a lot easier than I expected. I will try to remove it first chance I get.

I'd thought it necessary to update this thread and confirm (as I expected!) that as usual Erik was 100% correct! There are just 2 x T35 1" long machine screws holding the arm rest/child seat/coffee holder-arm rest in place. I find this amazing for something so critical as a child seat, but I guess the seat belt is what really does the heavy lifting. So yesterday I pulled the regular old arm rest option out of a V70XC in beige that I can swap in for a while until I can find someone who can do a reasonable job of re-attaching the torn retainer/pull flap.

Again for a Volvo, the removal of the cover to get it repaired was amazingly not complicated! A tensioner wire on one side and three slots over 3 tabs on the other. Took maybe 30secs to remove!

So once again, many thanks to Erik for his wisdom! Now to find that person to repair the damage reasonably neatly!
