96 R, what's dripping

One of my cars had a bad turbo, compressor wheel side seal. It was dumping oil out of the intercooler weep hole.

Robert, were you able to tell the turbo was shot performance wise or did you tear it apart because you had a feeling it coukd be the cause?

Now what in the heck does that comment mean, I am intrigued! The front engine mount is located next to the passenger's wheel, you don't really mean that, do you? Maybe you mean the transmission torque mount (barely visible in the picture) or for some reason, the left side hydraulic mount?

Great idea! That could be the culprit because i feel that the motor mounts are worn. The oil liquid might just be blackish and oily because it washed down some old oild from the pan.
i'm just waiting for spring to replace the mounts. Got all of them sitting in a box.
Next life I will build a heated garage ...

It was shot, almost no boost and had a lot of play.

knowing how much cleaner and easier the IC is compared to the mount, I'd rather do the IC too! lol

I can't really tell by the pic but I would guess the oil cooler lines. They always eventually leak after some time. I've heard they can be rebuilt by my last go around I just replaced them both.
