Hmmm, two months later that hose clamp popped and the hose popped off shortly thereafter. It does look a but loose in that picture.

You were too frightened to tighten the clamp because you bought one of those holy types; the ones that chew up hoses.

Over here the auto stores sell those to the unsuspecting traveller. I am lucky enough to have a water/pool accessories store that sells these beautiful stainless solid clamps close to my home.
