The reason why I had to put it back on was that I had to Get to the parts store to grab a new one and had to use my car. And I have had this car for about 7 years, and I did all the work my self. I used to be on the forums all the time, and I remember you.

Ok I changed the fuel pressure regulator with a used one from the junk yard. Think it was a stock. anyways I went to the junkyard and I actually found a 850 turbo wagon, because there usually all n/a. So I grabbed the fuel pressure regulator, 5 turbo injectors, and a center window pack switch. So now just gotta put the switch in and the 02 sensor. And then the only code I'll have left is the front knock sensor. But the knock sensor doesn't set off​ the check engine light. I think it's because I cleared it so many times lol. Because I passed emissions without the check engine light on. I think when I got there to the test place I reset it right there before the test and passed. But now it won't even trigger the cel, it will just store it in there. Anyways I'll post back after I put the 02 sensor in and the window switch. But runs perfect now sense the new fuel pressure regulator. Thank you every body for your help.

Btw...How did you reset codes,with scan/flash tool or by disconnecting negative battery terminal for 10-15 min?
If you didn't disconnect negative battery cable to reset,it would be a a good time for that in order to reset fuel trim properly.
Knock sensor code you had was because the car ran extremelly rich because of failed FPR.Now when you replaced it...knock sensor code went away.

Vacuum controlled fuel pressure regulators which are mounted on fuel rail(Jetronic and Motrnic 4.3 cars) are all the same and have the same part numbers...they are all the same for turbo and n/a.

Take the car somewhere and give it a good 30min spirited high rpm drive,to clear any residue of all that raw fuel which submerged the intake.

No I used the obd1 Port to check and reset the cel. And no the knock sensor code had been going off for a real Long Time. I'll do it when I have to do the pcv over. And I notice some of the regulators where just right in the fuel rail and no vacuum hose coming out. That's what I meant by different regulators. I took the car for a nice ride on the highway so now I'ma put in the O2 sensor and reset the codes and the only one that should come back is the knock sensor but it goes off once in a while and I just end up resetting it so 90 percent of the time I got no cel.

Those are Fuel Pressure Dampers on Motronic 4.4 management cars.On those cars,FPR is in fuel filter area on non turbo cars and in steering rack area on turbos and it's significantly smaller,different part number and not intercangeable with old style one.

Yes was very pleased with the quick diagnosis. Tyvm. I put the window switch pack in and now have full working windows. And it runs back to normal now.
