i had a strange clamp experience the other day. When doing the pcv last year i used quite a wide clamp on the hose that comes up betseen the head and the intake manifold, bends under the spark plug cover and goes into the valley between the cams.
When i pulled the spark plug cover off to inspect the plugs that bose was loose, ans oil everywhere. Put the hose on wirh the clamp and watched it for a few days. That damn hose just kept popping off. For the fun of i i then used a narrow one and it has stayed on ever since, even on that 7 hour drive to croatia. I think the wide clamp kinda squeezed the hose in a strange way, making it come off.

Maybe that dual hose you are using does the same thing.

Just last week I had the small hose on the left back of the block connecting the two metal pipes rupture on me. Immediately sprayed all the coolant out onto the hot exhaust and surroundings.
While still in the village waiting in front of a friends house. About to go of on an important drive of 80km with mom, wife and that friend.
Turned the engine of, rolled it back to another friends driveway, used my mothers car and replaced the little piece of hose and clamps next morning.
All this 1400km from home.

Safe to say I was very very happy!

That is a known weak hose, you should also replace the small coolant hose on the turbo.

I will check it! Thanks! Is it a bad thing I used benzine line hose? The local auto store didnt have anything else in that size.

If the pressure rating is ok for !-2 bar, it should be ok.

Maybe that hose was rebelling against your double-clamp style?

Marine habit. The second clamp is actually loose, it's a spare in case the first ones fail. If you keep it there, it's quick to find and easy to position
