It could be that your LPG system ecu is interfering sometimes.
'97 850 2.5 20v / fully equipped / Motronic 4.4 from the factory / upgraded with S,V,C,XC70 instrument cluster / polar white wagon

I asked a bit around on some lpg communities. 40000km for not great brand cables is quite a lot. The mercedes forum where I post sometimes about my '82 500sec, replace the whole ignition a lot earlier. But they drive lpg systems from the stoneages wich is not that perferctly set as the g3 lpi systems.

Anyway. So I bought a new set of bougiecord cables today for 75 euro. And ordered a bosch cap and rotor from some other place.
Maybe the latter were good for some more kms. But its Nice to start with a fresh complete set again.
I drive a lot of kms and it might be good for fuel efficiency too.

Maybe it is. Good thought! It doesnt matter to me, but I will tell the lpg garage. They check the ecu logs now and then. Maybe they see something.
