The modules showing "CHECKING" will not be cleared by VIDA. Yes, some of those would only show READY after a lengthier drive and checked before shutdown. If the ECM or TCM or other had issues they would show CHECKING, there would be DTC SET displayed. Faults in a processor is something diagnosed quickly and is usually permanent. The code presence check via stalk button and rear fog light button is possible any time during a key cycle but with 0 mph speed.
