An update to this regarding sources of the button; the Saab 900/9000 uses identical seatbelt recievers. There is no UK-based supplier for the Volvo part, but saabits.com stocks replacement buttons for the 900/9000 priced at £11 - here.

As far as I'm aware iPD still stocks these in NA, but hopefully this info is of use to those who do not have a local supplier.
