Would you mind sharing the brand, part numbers, where you got it, etc. I'm going through this saga and can't seem to hit the nail on the head. Thanks...

I don't have the part numbers, actually ended up selling the car. It was the axle specified for the all wheel drive v8 model.

Was your S80 AWD or FWD? Mine is FWD.

Move was FWD as well. That's why it was so confusing to keep getting the wrong axles. As soon as I ordered the AWD v8 ones I was good to go

The go to place for part numbers for me is Volvo parts lisle. There is a nice OEM parts engine that you start by putting your VIN number and get an I,age and parts listing like this...

We have been trending here to putting part numbers into threads for search purposes to make them robust
