Using Ramps safely (Humour)

Help, Advice and DIY Tutorials on Volvo's P80 platform cars -- Volvo's 1990s "bread and butter" cars -- powered by the ubiquitous and durable Volvo inline 5-cylinder engine.

1992 - 1997 850, including 850 R, 850 T-5R, 850 T-5, 850 GLT
1997 - 2000 S70, S70 AWD

You can just see the foam blocks aft, just forward of the end of the roof bar, above the fuel filler flap.

It’s faster to use blocks than mounting the bars, I think.

after thinking about this for a day: my guess is you have an extra ramp you used to get onto right front one going forqard. then removed it.

Do you put a kayak directly on the roof? Can't see any bars on that roof rail. Either I'm blind or your reckless with your 850... Don't know what's worse...😀
Tbe Kayaks help to buff the paintwork and gloss match the roof panels to the rest of the car....a technique I've been using for years with my P80s. :D

Sanding the paint down is also a kind of gloss match i suppose..
