I got 'em up $800, but with good reason -- they missed five options on the vehicle and one of their comps missed leather seating and a moonroof in the ad for the comp. (which represented $455 worth of options per their third party valuation service's figures). With respect to the other comps, none of the ads were still available so I couldn't even verify what optional equipment they were basing value on, so couldn't verify whether they were truly comparable. You get my point . . . (and I proposed the additional $800 rather than getting greedy and engaging in the death-of-a-thousand-cuts back and forth). I thought it represented fair value for the loss vehicle.

Deposit down today on a Sonic Blue 2006 V70R 4WD, auto. Highish miles but immaculately cared for with full dealer service records from 15K miles. Drove and looked like it was right off the show room floor. Man that Sonic Blue color is nice!

Prior owner spared no expense in upkeep. Transmission replaced under warranty with new Volvo unit at 55K miles. 205K now.

I won't need to wash and wax it anytime soon. It is cleaner -- inside and out -- than a surgical suite. Sweet!

This is a confusing topic to say the least because I've got a 99 s70 awd turbo with CVVT on just exhaust only. Help me Mr. Wizard.
