Hey Fosgate, thanks for the suggestion. Belts were all replaced about 25K back. Had similar issue in the past month or two and replacing of the belt seems to solve it, my battery is only year old Varta unit...
I completely forgot about this thread but had exactly the same thing happen to my 99 T5 with a 7 year battery inDEC 2019.
