Timing Belt Manual tension clicking

So based on a video I just took the second I start the car the needle goes far left and that's where the clicking is coming from.. this is a brand new tensioner what is happening! The never happened before I did the head job and a few months ago I changed the timing belt because it was long overdue and got it the first try! What is going on??
