If one does not want to change oil b/c it is messy etc., then options are:
1. Volvo Dealer. These days synthetic oil change is about $80-$100 at dealer.
2. Indy shop specialized in German/Swedish cars. Just make sure they use Mann or Mahle filter.
3. Find a good indy shop and bring 3 things with you (I have 2.5 T engine).
Some indy shops charge about $30 for the labor portion of this since you provided the parts:
a. Mahle oil filter ($5-$6 online)
b. 6 qts of synthetic oil, Lubro, Walmart synthetic, NAPA synthetic (which is Valvoline synthetic) etc. About $30-$35.
c. The tool Assenmacher Specialty Tool ($19 on Amazon, good investment)

Once you bring these 3 items, any decent mechanic can change the oil for you. Just stay there and make sure it is done right.
