Hi, original poster here, I don't know how the title changed, but this is not a 2003 S70, I think its a 1999. Haven't bought the car, might look at it this weekend. Dave

The bottom is easy, just snaps to ribs on the cushion and plastic clips hold down the edges. The back skin is held with medal rings to the cushion. I had to cut the rings to remove the skin, bending might be an option but the metal is very hard. I think they are called dog rings, so if you have to cut them you can buy replacements.

Important note: To remove the back skin you must remove the head rest. There are hidden bottom on the back of the seat that you push to remove the headrest. Google for where to press.

They are called "hog rings". You can pick them up at most hardware stores, and you will need a hog ring pliers. Bring some of the used ones in so you can match the size. They can be easily removed by cutting them with a wire snip pliers.

If you don't want to purchase anything, the hog rings can be expanded, rotated so they release, and then reused by clamping back (bending) to closed with a needle nose pliers. Lots of work, but on my first seat project that is how I managed.

Some have gotten by by using zip ties, trimmed to fit and rotated once installed.

Some idiot moderator probably inferred it from your profile without checking, then edited the title. We will check the logs and relegate him/her to looking for heated third rear seats

I think you are describing a 2004up seat. The 2001-2003 are different the way it's attached. While there, those headrests are not fun to remove, a helper is a big plus, plus those releasing clips are fun to find 8)
