Thanks for the URL. I purchased an ABS module together with the pump. We've replaced the module, but not the pump. It wasn't really a suspect for me but now it certainly is!

2001 s60 T2.5. I had the same problem. I had been researching for months with no luck finding anyone who had experienced the same. No brake no fluid and no functional braking on the ds rear wheel..
I had no codes of any kind.
I removed the ABS module with motor and valve body and Was preparing to send it to one of the companies to have it rebuilt. They said it was not the abs system but something else.
I reinstalled the unit and had the same problem. I decided to buy one from a wrecking yard. Priced from $220 down to $45. I got mine for $60. It came off a S80 not S60 like mine.
Before swapping it out I traced the line from rear ds brake caliper to the valve body above the ABS unit.
The aluminum valve body has 6 fittings. 2 from the master cylinder 4 out, one to each wheel.
For the outbound 4, one at a time I loosened the fitting just a little bit and has helper press brake just until I saw brake fluid flow. 3 strayed fluid. The second from the front did not. I remover that fitting and sure enough no amount of foot pressure an the brake pedal would yield flow.
Now I replaced only my valve body with the used one I purchased. Now all 4 wheels were bled.
Finally I have normal brakes again.
Good luck.
