The code is 0500 sorry for any confusion, I did unplug the sensor and gave it a try, yet the odometer hasn't moved, I think the DIM needs repair, the message center is blank, and the time isn't showing. The sensor most likely isn't the problem.Georgeandkira wrote: ↑27 Aug 2019, 06:29 What was the code? I'm surprised to hear of such a plenary sensor given all the posts I've read.
Unplug this sensor, drive, replug this sensor before inspections, sell car for more money....SIMPLE!

Yes, I unplugged the sensor, drove a few miles, plugged it back in, however, odometer reading still the same mileage. After more research, I get the feeling that it's most likely the DIM that needs repair, the message center is blank, I tried pressing the Read button on the shaft, but nothing is lighting up, and the clock is not in display.

2006, yes, basic addition, however, the 2002 has gone 100,000 miles without any major repair, other than replacing the DIM and front suspension work, the 2006 has 80,000 miles on it, and it will be fun to troubleshoot by sharing parts between the two cars.
