Thanks all for good advice. I'm definitely changing it.

@Roger_850T: good point about dealer's liability motives...I was thinking the same thing. Thanks for the VIDA insight too.

My mechanic uses AMSOIL fluid, by the way.

I'm not going to get back into the oil wars, but the Amsoil ATF is nowhere near the spec of the Mobil 3309 ATF that most on here use:

Is Amsoil better than the Volvo spec? Who knows?
To my mind, though, why guinea pig at twice the price?

Chevron has always been the best gas in CA. First live there in 1971. Shell use to have a good name also but in the early 80's a friend purchased a 240 Turbo. Correct me if I am wrong but I think the Owner's Manual had indicated not to use Shell. His dad having a Shell Credit Card insisted on Shell and during that period he would frequently have clogged injector.

Anyways, I am using Chevron's Havoline ® Global Multi-Vehicle ATF on 2 cars, 03 S80 T6 & 03 Odyssey. Both are supposed to have problematic transmissions especially the 03 Odysseys but neither cars have had any glitches under throttle. I did a complete replacement using the radiator to transmission hose method.

Hi Matt,

I used your Amazon link and purchased a case of the Haveline ATF. Curious to see if the link works and if possible to see what info you received on me. Nothing on my end shows I've linked to your account except the initial Amazon URL when I first click the link.

If it is too much trouble or there is your personal info don't worry about it.

I tried to PM you but there is a message stating you've turned off the PM feature? Thanks.
Blessings,

BKM
