I have attempted the gasket resealing and am stuck half way. I removed all the fasteners but the upper does not come out. Looks like it is stuck on the currently present RTV.
I am thinking of striking with a rubber mallet but it is safe to do it any thoughts?
Does anyone ran into this problem and know of a solution ?
I am planning to write a post and tools I used to to reach so far. My parts are in transit from fcp euro and will have to start resealing once I get the the pan out

Got a Pencil Torch or jet flame lighter? A little heat should soften the RTV. Then you can back it out. Don't cook it or catch it on fire.

@RickHaleParker Thanks a lot for the help. Finally I have been able to get the oil pan out
I don't know if this helped I used a subaru RTV remover and seems like it helped.

I got the pan out and cleaned. But I have a problem still I could not get the front exhaust manifold an catcon out as my subframe is not dropping much.
I some how squeezed the pan out But I don't think I can squeeze back in with sealant on it. Volvo vidas says it cat con should just come out. But I am not able to get it out any suggestions

What is holding it back?
Disconnecting the steering column from the rack is easy if done from inside the cab. Pull the rubber boot up you will see.
It is better to take the two bolts out of the lower strut then the six at the top. Got the power steering lines disconnected?

I have been able to get the oil pan out and fix it back.
Looks like I did not do the job right. It started drip a bit now.
I used the wurth RTV sealant for sealing. Looks like the anaerobic sealant is the better for this job. If the oil leak worsens I will do this job again with anaerobic gasket maker (fcp has elring one which I will probably use)
