Starter location on an S80 T6 3.2 L Topic is solved

Everything on the Volvo S80. Sometimes called an "executive car", the S80 was Volvo's top-of-the-line passenger car. P2 platform.

The PDF in this link is a good place to start.

Note: the Turbo Engine is slightly different, the PDF is for the 3.2

I had the car towed to a garage after I replaced the starter and battery. When I had it towed back from the garage (after they told me it would cost $1,500 to repair), they returned it to me totally dismantled. They had taken pulleys off and I had no idea where they went and what they were. That pdf does a good job of explaining things. I also ordered a software repair manual from Ebay. It doesn't give the details of the pdf, but it helps too.

Thanks again!
