Hi Yagger, is the repair similar to the ABS meaning poor soldering or are parts required?

Yes. Same issue. But need to be more careful when repair cluster.

Thank you, good to know. Will have get something better than the old $5.00 Radio Shack iron :roll: . I used it on a 98 S70 T5 ABS Module and thought I had fried the board. Did turn out OK.

I've been sitting on this problem. Just haven't had the time to fuss with it. Now I'm ready to more forward.

Doing a bit of online searching, I found Atlanta Speedometer www.atlantaspeedometer.com online. Five year warranty. Anyone have any experience?

Jumping in.

I have the same issue with my DIM, numbers are all getting jumbled up, they sometimes work, sometimes not, the trip computer is all wonky, etc, etc.

Can you use a DIM from another year? Say a 2004 in a 2002. And is there any way to reprogramm the ne unit to the old one, I don't care too much about the mileage changing more/less, etc, just want to know how many km I have driven.

It is possible. Even mileage will be own.
