Lots of towing info/experiences here in case anyone's interested. Summary: low range is your friend.

50 degrees?! :shock: :shock: That's an incredibly steep grade.

It's inclined that high for only ~200 feet. My XC70 made up these hills today when it was raining 4" per hour. Could barely see out the windshield. Being in south middle TN we got no ice on the roads last winter. Sleet came down last November but never stuck to the warm roads.

Don't miss the black ice on those Western MA mountains. :mrgreen:
