Use the steering wheel method and attach the hose at the pump reservoir inlet hose. I prefer the steering to pressure the fluid out rather than passively trying to pull everything out. I'm not so sure it can really pulling everything out. That video was reference for the hose connection. Happen to see it for the first time and was what I was trying to convey.
Check to see if there is a capacity in the manual and if not I believe two quarts should do it if the hose is not too long. Perhaps 3 quarts just in case. You should be able to see the fluid color difference to know you circulated all the old stuff out especially when it is coming out of the inlet hose to the reservoir.
