abscate, my pm to you and others are not going through. I have 4 or 5 pms in my outbox and they are not sending?

PM works a little different then email. PM don't need to be sent. They are already on the MVS server. The messages will stay in your outbox until they are read by the other person or you delete them. This give one the opportunity to edit or kill the message before the other reads it.

They sit in the outbox until the reader picks them up , so that’s normal,

Mine occasionally gets overfilled with hate mail, potato offers from IA, cheap P80s from CT, and Professors from Queens dropping by, in which case I have to delete some to see them...my apologies

Hate mail? You? How can that be with your cookie jar of jokes? Wow potato offers? Did you use to live in Idaho or on some Yukon gold farm in Canada? I'm assuming cheap p80s because you buy so many? Wish I could have that many. And I don't have your email.

Directions

If the user has email from Forum enabled

...click on user name in any post.

Look for the "send email" link on lower left.

The email popup allows people to receive email without making their email public, of course.
